Call for chapter proposals: Recipes for motherhood: Cultural narratives in academia

Recipes of Motherhood: Cultural Narratives in Academia, which is part of the Culinary Canvas Series with Myers Education Press (Series editors: Jameson Brewer & Cleveland Heyes). We’re currently seeking chapter proposals from educators, researchers, and practitioners interested in exploring the intersections of academic motherhood, food stories, and cultural heritage.

Chapter proposals that discuss how food serves as a metaphor for resilience, identity, and community for mothers navigating the demands of higher education are invited. Topics may include personal narratives, cultural analyses, and case studies. The deadline for proposals is February 28, 2025
