Call for proposals: 2027 USG Teaching & Learning Conference

When: April 8-9, 2027

Where: Columbus, Georgia

Proposals are due by 5:00 PM EST on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

To encourage broad participation across our institutions, each presenter is limited to appearing on no more than two proposals, regardless of session format or role (primary submitter, lead presenter, or co-presenter).

The conference will feature presentations centered around the following four conference strands (see the conference website for details):

*Faculty and Student Well-Being: Creating Communities and Connections

*Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education

*Educational Development: Connecting Knowledge to Practice

Timeline:

Deadline for proposal submission: November 3, 2026, 5:00 PM EST

Decision notifications: Friday January 29, 2027

Registration opens: January 2027
